In 1999, I started my first real job at Georgia Pacific in Atlanta as an import plywood trader. This was my first taste of the corporate world right after college. Back then, we thought we were high tech. My desk phone had buttons just like a corded phone in a hotel room today. But one of them was labeled “Help Desk.” Being new, I assumed it was a one call fixes all line for any type business issue. Turns out, it was just for computer problems. Still, the idea stuck with me one call to fix any business issue.

Fast forward a few years, after founding and running AYS, a $7 million service company, I spent nearly two decades wishing that same help desk existed . A number I could call when I was buried in scheduling chaos, payroll headaches, or system breakdowns. You know those questions you have in the middle of the day and you have to call your dad, mom or a friend thats a competitor amd ask then? Well, That button never existed… until now.
